About Us

I started Happy Little Monsters Dog Walking and Pet Care Services, after 3 years of professional dog walking and 45 years of dog and pet care. It's been an amazing journey. Since I was about 6 years old I helped my mom raise Rough Collies. Over the years, I’ve trained and showed Collies in Obedience AKC and in 4-H shows. Daily, I cleaned the dog runs of our kennels, gave all the dogs their meals, fresh water and oral medications. I even helped when our females whelped pups. After school, I couldn’t wait to see the puppies and play with them. Caring for them was no chore, because I loved every minute of it! To sum it all up, every little paw that I've had the honor to raise, train, walk and care for has brought so much joy into my life. And now, I want to share that joy with you and your furry family members. I never charge for last minute requests! I’m happy to help when ever I can and I’m very flexible with scheduling. My clients can call or text me at anytime during the day up until 8 pm. If I can not answer right away, I will text/call back as soon as possible.

During your phone consultation, we will go over the needs of your pet, what you expect during walks/visits, pet’s behaviors, bite history, the pet’s vaccination records, scheduling, prices, payment methods, when payments are to be paid, our policies and Fear free practices, go over any concerns etc. and set up a free meet and greet.

During the meet and greet, the pets and I will get acquainted, we will discuss further care information such as location of cleaning supplies, treats, food, bowls, supplements, toys, leashes, harness, collars, crate or where your little monster spends most his/her day, discuss payment options and go over/sign the service agreement. This agreement is of my business policies/practices and therefore, will need to be agreed in full and signed. Also during this time, we will discuss entry of your home. You can either give a key, or if you use a key code for entry, I will need that code or you can assign a code for me. We prefer that you use a lock box for your house key, however it’s not mandatory.

I use a professional scheduling software called Time To Pet. Clients have the Time To Pet App on their cell phones, and I will use the same App. You will feel at ease knowing that you can request visits/walks, see when I will be at your home, see all about your pet’s appointment report card and are able to add/change your pets care info. Some clients choose not to use the app and that’s okay. They get a report card about their pet’s visits/walks through their email.

During a visit, as I enter your home I start the visit/walk on the app. and you will get an email showing that I started the pet visit. At the end of each walk/visit, and when I leave your home I stop the the visit on the app. Immediately, you will get an email with your pet’s report card with notes about your pet’s visit, a map of our walk and photos.
